Terms of service
Effective October 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Hung Nguyen, an individual doing business as The Florist Ledger ("we" or "us"). They cover thefloristledger.com and the app on it.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Who can use the app
The app is for florists and other businesses that plan events. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you sign up for a business, you agree to these terms for that business.
Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else got in, email hello@thefloristledger.com.
Your plan and the free trial
- There is one plan. It is billed monthly at the price shown when you choose it.
- Each new business starts with a 14-day free trial. The trial needs no card and never charges you.
- If you choose the plan with more than two days of trial left, your first charge waits until the trial ends. Otherwise your first charge happens when you choose the plan.
- The plan renews every month and charges your card until you cancel.
- Stripe takes your payment on its own secure pages. We never see your full card number.
We may change the price. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you want to.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time. Go to Settings › Billing, choose Manage billing in Stripe, and cancel there.
Cancelling stops future charges. Your business stays open until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds
Charges are non-refundable. That includes partial months, so we don't refund the rest of a month after you cancel.
If we charge you twice or charge the wrong amount, we refund the mistake. Email hello@thefloristledger.com within 30 days of the charge.
When the trial ends or a payment fails
If your free trial ends and you haven't chosen the plan, your business locks. It also locks when your subscription ends, for example after you cancel or when Stripe can't collect a payment after trying again.
- While it is locked, you can't open your events or other records.
- Your team's event links stop working.
- You can still open Settings › Billing and pay.
Locking deletes nothing. Your records stay saved, and paying for the plan unlocks your business.
Your data
You own what you put in the app. That includes your business details and what you type about your clients and team members. You let us store, copy and show it only as needed to run the app for you. The Privacy policy says how we handle it.
You are responsible for having permission to store your clients' and team members' details, and for following the laws that apply when you contact them.
To get a copy of your data, or to have us delete it, email hello@thefloristledger.com.
Fair use
Don't use the app to break the law, to send spam, or to upload anything you don't have the right to share. Don't try to get into accounts that aren't yours, overload the app, or get around its limits.
Our app
We own the app, its design and its code. These terms let you use it while your account is open. They give you no other rights to it.
We change the app over time and may add, change or remove features. If you send us ideas, we may use them without paying you.
Ending your account
You can stop using the app at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email hello@thefloristledger.com.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or don't pay. When we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
If we stop running the app, we will email you at least 30 days before it closes, so you can ask for a copy of your data.
No promises about the app
We work to keep the app running and your data safe. Still, we provide the app "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always work, be free of mistakes, or suit your business.
The app does math for you, such as prices, sales tax and profit. Check the numbers before you rely on them. You are responsible for your quotes, contracts, taxes and bookkeeping.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or follow-on losses. That includes lost profits, lost bookings, lost data and harm to your reputation.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the app is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If someone makes a claim against us because of data you stored or how you used the app, you agree to cover our reasonable costs. Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
Governing law and disputes
The laws of the State of California govern these terms.
If we disagree about something, email hello@thefloristledger.com first and we will try to sort it out. If we can't, the state or federal courts in California will decide it, and we both agree to use those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
If a change matters, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply. If you don't accept them, cancel before they take effect.
The rest of the agreement
If a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You can't transfer your account to someone else without our written okay.
